Community Engagement

Empowering Individuals, Strengthening Communities.

We work to promote awareness about mental health, neurodiversity, and disabilities through various channels such as social media, events, and public speaking engagements. We engage with local communities to understand their needs and provide resources tailored to them. While our primary focus is on mental health, we support and collaborate with other initiatives to reduce stigma and empower others to become agents of change.

Peer Support Group

A group of individuals joined us for a relaxing discussion around mental health
Our Peer Support Group, famously known as “Tea & Talk,” is a casual and friendly gathering where a small group of individuals can come together to relax, socialize, and discuss various topics related to mental health, well-being, neurodiversity, and disabilities.

Our primary goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can freely share their experiences, offer support, and learn from one another. The Tea & Talk sessions are hosted every three months, providing a regular opportunity for meaningful connections and valuable conversations.

Volunteer Program

MINDAKAMI has established various volunteer programs for children, schools, universities, minorities, underprivileged or underserved communities, high-risk individuals, and others. Volunteers are able to contribute their time and skills to support the community and learn from one another.

Each volunteer is equipped with relevant training to become an agent of change in society.

Collaborative Engagement

Team from MINDAKAMI free provides mental health screening for the public

MINDAKAMI has been actively undertaking various collaborative projects with community members, exemplifying our commitment to fostering mental health and well-being. One significant initiative has been our mental health screening programs, designed to reach individuals across different demographics and provide valuable insights into their mental well-being.

By collaborating with community members, including schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations, we create a network of support and resources, ensuring that mental health screening is accessible and inclusive.

Through these collaborative efforts, we aim to raise awareness, promote early intervention, and ultimately enhance the overall mental health landscape of our community. Together, we can make a lasting impact on individuals’ lives and foster a culture of well-being.

Online Engagement

Through our active presence on social media, MINDAKAMI is dedicated to listening and amplifying the voices that often go unheard. We strive to create awareness and understanding surrounding mental health issues, neurodiversity, disabilities, and human rights. Our commitment is reflected in our continuous sharing of valuable information and resources.

Additionally, we offer virtual support to individuals in need through private messaging and chats, providing a safe and confidential space for guidance and assistance. Join us in fostering a more inclusive and supportive society.
