World Health Organization Quality-of-Life Scale (WHOQOL)

World Health Organization Quality-of-Life Scale (WHOQOL)

What does "quality of life" mean to you? The World Health Organization defines Quality of Life as an individual's perception of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards, and concerns.

The WHO Quality of Life (WHOQOL-BREF) measures the following general areas of our quality of life: physical health, mental health, social relationships, and the environment.

Please answer all the questions. If you are unsure about which response to give to a question, please choose the best one you can. There are no right or wrong answers. Please keep in mind your standards, hopes, pleasures, and concerns. We ask that you think about your life in the last two weeks.

If you feel you need to talk to our mental health professionals, remember that we are here for you.
